Como se dice ‘Wu-Tang’ en Dutch?

Literally.
I’m in the airport again. No, I didn’t freak out, pack my shit, and decide to come back to NY (sorry ladies).
I’m on my way to Amsterdam.
I can’t recall if it was a supreme court ruling or one of the ten commandments, but I vividly remember the following statement being made once upon a time:
If Chris Heller (yes I just referred to myself in the 3rd person…or is that 2nd person since I’m talking about someone else talking about me…whatever…its 530am) is in the EU, and the Wu-Tang Clan happens to be performing in the EU, then Chris Heller must be in attendance.
I guess even politics or religion have the right idea once in a while.
Just to recap for those of you who may be reading this in a similar mental state as I am while writing it (ie no sleep):
WU-TANG…………..IN AMSTERDAM!!!!
How could I not be there? Had to make it happen.
To be honest, I’m a little nervous. Nothing to do with the concert, but for Amsterdam in general. This will be my 4th time there, but the other 3 were a long time ago, and there’s one major difference in my life that is supremely relevant here. I used to smoke a lot of weed. A lot. Amsterdam used to be more a conquest of how much can I smoke, and how much better is the next coffee shop’s weed gonna be than the last. Now, not so much.
These days, I rarely smoke. On top of that, about half the time I decide to get high, I’m annoyed I did it 10 minutes later. So, where does this leave me in the city with the best weed selection in the world? I’m not sure, really. Guess it will just be a game-time decision. If I had to guess, I’d say smart money is on me buying the best weed in whatever coffee shop I walk into 1st, rolling a blunt, and taking it to the head. After that, I guess I just deal with the consequences (ideally, those consequences being ‘funny shit’ and ‘eating’).
Either way, I have a solid 24hrs to gauge my tolerance so I’m all good for the Clan tomorrow night.
“…fuckin wit my style is sorta like a miracle.”
